DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS OPERATIONS, Information Systems and Technology (IS&T), to serve in a decisive role leading the Finance and Business Logistics teams. Responsibilities include developing the principles, processes, and procedures necessary to bring consistency and transparency to IS&T’s financial operations, management, and accounting; providing consistent, real-time, macro-level views of IS&T’s overall financial situation; helping develop the processes, practices, and procedures for managing a flexible workforce of contractors and the dynamics of a changing IT labor force towards a more fluid and agile environment; managing and leading IS&T’s financial framework and strategy; overseeing and executing annual budget process; leveraging financial information and metrics to provide key intelligence to IS&T and Institute leadership; tracking and communicating benefits realization for critical initiatives and expenditures; developing strategies, procedures, and processes for procurement, asset management, and vendor management. developing strategic sourcing and vendor relationship management strategies; collaborating on negotiating complex and consequential contracts; determining and implementing benchmarking findings; leveraging vendor and services agreements; and conducing audits and inventories of IT vendors, SLAs, and assets.
