The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Project Director in Austin, TX.
Direct, manage and provide support to GCG program managers responsible for GCG programs in Korea. Establish program implementation plans for each program with the program managers. Set and manage milestones that accomplish all the deliverables. Establish methods to assess progress on program goals and performance of managers. Review and approve expenditures that are within budgets set by the GCG director. Lead and support business development activities in each Korea program related to the commercialization of select technologies for the Korea Programs and conduct due diligence and market research on technologies. Assist Program Managers with development and implementation of commercialization strategies for technologies and open relationships with potential international partners. Assure completion of business development deliverables. Manage and assist Program Managers in establishing and maintaining relationships with program sponsors and partners. Communicate and reach agreements on work and funding. Establish regular reporting to program sponsors and partners. Include sponsors and partners in events and judging of activities. Work with sponsors and partners to establish media exposure for the program. Facilitate visits by sponsors and partners to Austin as needed or requested. Establish yearly revenue goals for new program development and execute on the marketing and sales of IC2 programs for education, training and outreach as well as new research initiatives to reach those goals.
