The Brooks Museum will be hosting Winterfest on Sunday, December 15th.
At Brooks Winterfest, you will be greeted on the museum plaza with interactive performances by Mancontrol and Lil’ Elv-Eye, food trucks and horse-pulled carriages. Inside the museum, enjoy hands-on art-making activities, gallery guides themed for winter, tales told by Memphis Public Library, and a screening of Jim Henson’s Emmet Otter’s Jug Band Christmas!
Create ornaments inspired by the Brooks’ permanent collection; make one to take home, and one to decorate the Brooks’ tree. Modern art and gingerbread house workshops are available with advanced registration and fee. Brooks members can decorate a doughnut “wreath” in the studios.
Admission is free. Horse-drawn carriages are $15 per ride.
